These vehicles are built to handle heavy loads, with a maximum towed mass of 55,000 kg, and can transport two containers simultaneously. Designed with a 258 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, they offer a range of up to 120 km and operate up to 18 hours on a single 1 hour charge, ideal for extensive shifts in terminals. SANY’s electric tractors are available with various configurations, such as charging-only, battery-swap, intelligent guided vehicle (IGV), and autonomous (ATT) options, providing flexibility and automation for evolving operational needs in ports worldwide.
SM5180
The SANY SM5180 is an advanced Electric Terminal Tractor designed for efficient and sustainable port operations. Featuring a battery-swapping capability, it enables quick, convenient power renewal in just 60-70 minutes for plugged in charging, minimizing downtime. The SM5180 has a range of up to 120 km on a single charge, supporting long, uninterrupted work shifts. Designed with flexibility in mind, this vehicle can alternate between battery charging and swapping modes, providing adaptability for various terminal requirements. With this model, SANY continues its commitment to reducing emissions and operational costs while maintaining high performance and productivity in terminal environments.
SM4602
The SM4602 is also a very popular machine, with similar specs to the SM5180 machine, this model has a swappable battery pack allowing fast cycle changes of 5-7 minutes. This model comes with a truck mounted automated battery swapping system.
SIGV8850
The SANY SIGV8850 is the fully autonomous or Automated Guided Vehicle, AGV. With fast charging up to 95% in 60 min or less, and a swappable battery option, this machine will operate for up to 120km. With all wheel steering, this is a very capable machine.
